Human Resources

The centrally located Human Resources Office supports the Director’s Office, administrative offices and the four regional DFS laboratories located throughout the Commonwealth.  HR assists applicants seeking prospective employment with the Department and provides guidance to DFS employees in connection with the terms of their employment, benefits, and employee relations issues.  The HR Director works closely with the Department Counsel and serves as the primary consultant to DFS leadership on strategic management issues, including staffing, compensation, classification, performance management, training and grievance matters.
